A School Based Traineeship combines a student's Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) with part-time work and structured training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).  The student receives credits towards their VCE or VCAL results.

The Traineeship provides a career pathway which can lead to work and further studies in the student's chosen field.

Certificate III    Children's Services

Certificate III    Fitness

Certificate III    Business Administration

Certificate III    Events

Certificate III    Community Services Work, pathways to:

                            - Youth Support

                            - Disability

                            - Aged Care

Students are released from their school studies to attend training and where applicable work:

• An average over the school year of 13 hours per week
  • at least 7 hours in employment
  • 6 hours in training
• Students may be also need to undertake training during the school holidays if required.
