Successful scholarship candidates will be employed by Gforce as an Apprentice or Trainee and placed with a Host Hmployer.  Gforce will provide the candidate with post-placement support through an Industry Consultant, provide pre entry learning (literacy and numeracy) if required, pay trade school fees and at the end of a successful first year pay the apprentice or trainee a scholarship of $1000.  Businesses hosting a Gforce Scholarship Apprentice or Trainee will also be discounted the equivalent of 4 week’s base wage at the successful completion of the first year.

Gforce is inviting Geelong’s local community services and businesses to join us in supporting the  development and skilling of young people by becoming a Host Employer or by ‘adopting an apprentice’ (contributing 50/50 to the scholarship and providing a ‘buddy’ to provide additional support).
 
The first round of scholarship candidates have now commenced their trianing and are on their way to building their career.
